When you come in for your first Invisalign consultation, we will take panoramic X-rays, and our dentist will perform an oral examination. He will then describe the treatment process and give you an estimate of how long it should take to achieve your goals and how much your treatment will cost.
Taking Impressions
Next, Dr. Bivens will take a set of impressions and create a precise digital outline of how your teeth will move throughout treatment. We offer both traditional and digital impressions to ensure we have a complete understanding of your smile.
Placing Attachments
We offer Invisalign attachments for patients whose teeth need an extra push to align properly. Dr. Bivens will strategically place these attachments on specific teeth to help the aligners grip more firmly and gently guide your smile into place.
Your Aligners
Patients choose Invisalign because it fades into the background of your routine. You wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. However, you can remove them to eat, brush, and floss – no dietary restrictions or careful flossing around brackets required.
Check-ups
Next, Dr. Bivens will take a set of impressions and create a precise digital outline of how your teeth will move throughout treatment. We offer both traditional and digital impressions to ensure we have a complete understanding of your smile.
